Bay Area Acting Studio offers both Monthly and Session-by-session private coaching, as well as the new Master Mind Program. Please note the following policies for all private coaching offerings:
- We require a 30 day notice of cancellation for monthly coaching, please email me if you need to cancel.
- You will be billed by the first of the month for coaching. Payments are due no later than the 5th of every month.
- There is a 24 hour cancellation policy for private coaching sessions. You will be charged for a full session if there is not a 24 hour advanced notice.
- We recommend checking out the Actor's Edge program, as a great way to start learning topics that will be covered in private coaching.

This program in only for actors who have applied and been approved, by Christy, and will run in sessions of 8-10 students per 4 month session. All others can email or call (415) 324-8464 to inquire and/or be added to a wait list. Highlights of the program are:
- Actors work one on one with Christy and get her professional
- Actors receive specific input on where they are at in their careers and where they need to be.
- Actors receive one-on-one coaching sessions with Christy as well as monthly group meetings.
- This program includes the Actor's Edge monthly intensive classes.
- Actors will collaborate on group projects.

Actors commit to meet twice a month with Christy for a one-hour private session. During these sessions, the actor is aided and encouraged to set short and long-term goals for both the artistic and business sides of their acting careers. In addition, Christy provides specific, real-world guidance on how to get an agent, obtain headshots, create a resume, choose appropriate monologues, prepare for auditions, and ultimately turn auditions into bookings.
Having worked extensively for nearly two decades in the entertainment industry as an actor, director and producer, Christy is fully aware that the business of acting can be overwhelming at times. Working one-on-one with the actor, Christy breaks the process into smaller, “doable” steps that build confidence and take the fear out of the unknown in a way that helps give the actor perspective and a sense of humor about the process.
In addition to cold read and audition preparation, Christy also helps actors who have already been cast in roles and are looking for ways to improve and expand in those specific work assignments.
Private coaching requires an ongoing commitment and a monthly fee payable at the beginning of each month. Sessions are limited and openings tend to fill up quickly. A wait list is available. Please email or call for more information.

Session-by-session coaching is available for actors who have “one-time” specific issues they wish to focus on (e.g. working on monologues, preparing for an audition or a callback). These sessions are subject to availability per Christy's schedule. To inquire regarding available coaching sessions, please email or call (415) 322 8464.
Coaching sessions prior to an important audition, callback or agent meeting are powerful tools that can often mean the difference between being hired and being overlooked.
In these one-on-one sessions, Christy helps actors get very specific with the work at hand and shows the actor how to raise the stakes, which results in a more powerful audition. She has an amazing knack for knowing exactly how to guide the actor into making choices that are the best for the actor and the project.
Christy’s actors tell her that the confidence and clarity they receive in these sessions are invaluable and result in auditions that are less stressful, fun and successful.
Phone sessions are available for actors on location, transitioning to N.Y. or L.A. or unable for other reasons to come to the studio.
Kid Sessions are 45 minutes in length. Feel free to contact Christy directly with questions about curriculum and fees.
